Website, Reservation & Guest Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: September 7, 2026

Welcome to Velkommen Inn. These Website, Reservation & Guest Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Velkommen Inn website, online reservation system, telephone reservations, email reservations, text-message communications, and your occupancy or use of any guest room, amenity, facility, or service provided by Velkommen Inn ("Hotel," "Velkommen Inn," "we," "us," or "our").

By making or confirming a reservation, clicking an "Agree," "Book," "Reserve," "Confirm," or similar button, electronically signing a registration document, providing payment information, checking in, accepting a room key, or occupying a guest room, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and all reservation-specific policies disclosed to you. If you make a reservation on behalf of another guest, company, employee, family member, or other person, you represent that you are authorized to make the reservation and communicate the applicable reservation terms to the guest.

Reservations, Check-In & Rates

1. Minimum Age Requirement

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to reserve a guest room and check in to Velkommen Inn. Velkommen Inn reserves the right to verify a guest's age and identity before providing accommodations.

2. Check-In Requirements

At check-in, the registered guest must present a valid government-issued photo identification and a valid credit or debit card acceptable to the Hotel. The name on the identification should reasonably correspond to the reservation and payment information unless prior arrangements have been approved by the Hotel. Velkommen Inn may refuse check-in when acceptable identification, payment, authorization, or other required information cannot be provided.

3. Credit/Debit Card Authorization

By providing a credit or debit card in connection with a reservation or stay, the cardholder authorizes Velkommen Inn and its authorized payment processors to process charges permitted under the reservation agreement and these Terms. This may include, as applicable:

  • Room charges
  • Taxes
  • Authorized fees
  • Incidentals
  • Additional nights
  • Cancellation charges
  • No-show charges
  • Late check-out charges
  • Pet-related charges
  • Smoking charges
  • Damage
  • Missing hotel property
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Unpaid balances
  • Other amounts properly owed under these Terms

The Hotel may place an authorization hold on a payment card for estimated charges and incidentals. An authorization hold is not necessarily a completed charge. The length of time an authorization remains pending after the Hotel releases it is determined by the guest's bank or card issuer and is outside the Hotel's control.

4. Payment Authorization Failure and Reservation Cancellation

Velkommen Inn may verify, preauthorize, or charge the payment card associated with a reservation when permitted by the applicable reservation or rate terms. If the Hotel is unable to obtain a required authorization or payment from the card provided—including because the card is declined, expired, invalid, restricted, reported lost or stolen, has insufficient available funds, or otherwise cannot be successfully authorized—Velkommen Inn reserves the right to cancel the reservation. Before cancelling a reservation for a payment-authorization failure, the Hotel will make a reasonable attempt to contact the guest using the telephone number and/or email address provided with the reservation and request a valid replacement payment method. If a telephone call is unanswered, is directed to voicemail, cannot be completed, is blocked, or the Hotel is otherwise unable to reach the guest, the Hotel's reasonable contact attempt will satisfy its contact-attempt obligation under this policy; the Hotel is not required to establish that the guest actually received, answered, or listened to the communication. The guest is responsible for providing accurate and current contact information and for monitoring the telephone number, voicemail, email address, and other contact information supplied with the reservation. If the guest does not provide an acceptable replacement payment method within the time requested by the Hotel, the reservation may be cancelled. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, Velkommen Inn is not responsible for losses, costs, travel expenses, alternative-accommodation costs, or other consequences resulting from cancellation caused by the guest's failure to maintain a valid payment method or respond to the Hotel's reasonable contact attempts.

5. Reservation Accuracy

Guests are responsible for providing accurate reservation information, including guest name, telephone number, email address, arrival date, departure date, number of adults, number of children, number of rooms, room type, pet information, special requests, and payment information. Guests should immediately review their reservation confirmation and contact Velkommen Inn if any information is incorrect.

6. Reservation Confirmation

A reservation is considered confirmed when Velkommen Inn or its authorized reservation provider issues a valid reservation confirmation. Guests should retain their confirmation number. Submission of a reservation request does not guarantee availability until the reservation has been confirmed. A confirmation does not eliminate any requirement to maintain a valid payment method or satisfy a required authorization or payment under these Terms or the applicable rate rules; a reservation may later be cancelled in accordance with Section 4 if a required authorization or payment cannot be obtained.

7. Rates

Room rates are based on the dates, room type, occupancy, availability, and rate plan selected at the time of booking. Rates may vary based on availability, room type, day of week, special events, length of stay, corporate agreements, group agreements, promotional offers, packages, booking source, and seasonal demand. Rates are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed.

8. Taxes and Fees

Room rates may be subject to applicable state taxes, local taxes, hotel occupancy taxes, government-imposed assessments, and other legally applicable charges. Unless specifically stated otherwise, quoted room rates do not include applicable taxes.

9. Special and Promotional Rates

Corporate, promotional, group, employee, government, crew, package, extended-stay, and other special rates may have additional conditions, including different cancellation deadlines, non-refundable terms, minimum stays, deposits, eligibility requirements, identification requirements, blackout dates, room-type restrictions, and group cutoff dates. The terms specifically disclosed for a special rate will control if they conflict with these general Terms.

10. Promotional Codes

Promotion codes must generally be entered at the time of booking. Promotions are subject to availability; may be limited to specific room types or dates; may contain blackout dates; may expire; may not be combined with another promotion; have no cash value unless otherwise stated; and generally cannot be applied retroactively to an existing reservation.

11. Special Requests

Velkommen Inn will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requests. However, special requests are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the Hotel. Special requests may include specific room numbers, room location, floor preference, connecting or adjoining rooms, early check-in, late check-out, accessible accommodations, pet-friendly rooms, additional bedding, and other room preferences. Additional fees may apply.

Reservation Cancellation & Modification Policy

12. Standard Cancellation or Modification Period

Unless a different cancellation policy is expressly disclosed for a particular reservation, guests may cancel or modify their reservation without a cancellation charge up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date.

13. How to Cancel or Modify a Reservation

To cancel or modify a direct reservation, contact Velkommen Inn: Phone: (254) 675-8999 · Email: info@velkommeninncliftontx.com. Guests should provide guest name, reservation confirmation number, arrival date, and the requested change. A cancellation is not considered completed until the Hotel or its reservation system has processed the cancellation. Guests are encouraged to retain their cancellation confirmation.

14. Late Cancellations or Modifications

Unless different reservation-specific terms apply, cancellations or modifications made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date will result in a charge equivalent to one night's room rate plus applicable taxes and fees.

15. No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive on the scheduled arrival date without properly cancelling or modifying the reservation will be considered a no-show. In the event of a no-show, the guest may be charged for the entire reserved stay, including applicable taxes and fees, subject to applicable law and the specific terms disclosed at booking. The Hotel may cancel the remaining portion of a no-show reservation. Guests expecting to arrive substantially later than anticipated should contact the Hotel.

16. Non-Refundable Reservations

Certain promotional rates, advance-purchase rates, packages, discounted reservations, or special offers may be non-refundable. If a rate is non-refundable, its specific cancellation and modification restrictions will be disclosed during booking. The reservation-specific terms will control.

17. Group Reservations

Group reservations may have separate cancellation requirements, attrition requirements, deposits, cutoff dates, payment schedules, room commitments, minimum-night requirements, and liquidated-damage provisions. The applicable signed group agreement will control if it differs from these general Terms.

18. Third-Party Reservations

Reservations made through online travel agencies or third-party booking providers may be subject to the third party's terms and conditions. If the third party collected payment, Velkommen Inn may not have authority to directly refund, modify, change the rate or dates of, or cancel the reservation. Guests may be required to contact the original booking provider.

19. Reservation Modifications

Changing a reservation may affect room availability, room type, rate, taxes, discounts, packages, and cancellation terms. The original rate is not guaranteed after a guest requests a change.

20. Refunds

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. After Velkommen Inn issues a refund, posting times are determined by the financial institution, payment processor, credit-card issuer, or third-party booking provider.

Hotel Policies

21. Non-Smoking Property

Velkommen Inn is a non-smoking property. Smoking is strictly prohibited in indoor areas, including guest rooms. This prohibition includes smoking and vaping where prohibited by Hotel policy. Designated outdoor smoking areas may be available. Violation of the Hotel's non-smoking policy will result in a $150.00 damage/cleaning fee. The guest may also be responsible for additional documented damage beyond the standard fee if specialized restoration, repair, or cleaning is reasonably necessary.

22. Pet Policy

Pets are permitted only in accordance with Velkommen Inn's established pet policy and only in rooms designated or approved for pets. Guests must disclose pets when making the reservation or before occupying the guest room. Failure to disclose a pet or violation of the Hotel's pet policy may result in a $150.00 violation fee per day, per pet. This fee is separate from any regular pet fee and does not limit the guest's responsibility for actual damage or excessive cleaning caused by the animal. Guests should contact Velkommen Inn for current pet-room availability, fees, limitations, and requirements.

23. Service Animals

Qualified service animals will be accommodated as required by applicable law. A service animal that qualifies under applicable law is not treated as a pet for purposes of standard pet fees. Guests remain responsible for damage caused by a service animal to the same extent that guests are responsible for damage they themselves cause.

24. Damages and Losses

The registered guest is responsible for damage to Hotel property caused by the registered guest, other occupants, children, visitors, invitees, and pets or animals for which the guest is legally responsible. Damage charges may include reasonable costs associated with repair, replacement, cleaning, restoration, labor, shipping, installation, lost or missing property, and loss of use where legally recoverable. Normal wear and tear will not be treated as guest damage.

25. Excessive Cleaning

Rooms requiring cleaning substantially beyond normal housekeeping may be subject to an additional cleaning charge. Examples may include excessive trash, severe stains, bodily fluids, pet contamination, smoke odor, food contamination, biohazard cleanup, unusual odors, and conditions requiring specialized cleaning.

26. Missing Hotel Property

Guests may be charged for Hotel property removed, destroyed, or not returned, including linens, towels, bedding, electronics, remote controls, appliances, furniture, artwork, fixtures, equipment, and other Hotel-owned property.

27. Post-Checkout Charges

The guest authorizes Velkommen Inn, to the extent permitted by applicable law and payment-network rules, to charge the payment method provided for legitimate amounts discovered after departure that arose from the guest's reservation or stay, including smoking violations, pet violations, damage, missing property, excessive cleaning, unpaid room charges, additional occupancy charges, and other properly authorized charges. Velkommen Inn may retain appropriate records, photographs, receipts, invoices, inspection records, electronic logs, or other documentation supporting such charges.

28. Payment Obligation

Guests are responsible for all valid amounts due under their reservation. Checking out or leaving the property does not eliminate responsibility for unpaid charges. Velkommen Inn reserves all lawful rights to pursue unpaid balances.

29. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Guests retain all legitimate rights provided by applicable law and their payment-card agreement. However, guests agree not to knowingly initiate a false, misleading, or fraudulent chargeback for a stay actually received; a valid cancellation or no-show charge; authorized damage or cleaning charges; or other amounts properly owed under the reservation agreement. Guests are encouraged to contact Velkommen Inn first if they believe a billing error has occurred so that the Hotel has an opportunity to review and resolve the matter. Nothing in this section eliminates any non-waivable consumer right.

30. Guest Conduct

Guests must behave in a lawful and respectful manner. Conduct that may result in termination of the stay includes, subject to applicable law: excessive noise, fighting, threats, harassment, violence, illegal activity, destruction of property, dangerous conduct, repeated disruption of other guests, refusal to pay valid charges, material violation of Hotel policies, interference with Hotel operations, and tampering with safety or security equipment.

31. Noise and Disturbances

Guests must respect the peaceful enjoyment of other guests. Excessive noise, parties, yelling, loud music, repeated disturbances, or other unreasonable conduct may result in a warning; removal of visitors; termination of occupancy; or eviction/removal from the property where permitted by law. A guest removed for serious misconduct or a material Hotel-policy violation may not be entitled to a refund for unused accommodations, subject to applicable law.

32. Visitors

The registered guest is responsible for the conduct of visitors entering the property or guest room at the guest's invitation. Velkommen Inn may reasonably restrict visitors for safety, security, occupancy, noise, emergency, or operational reasons. Unauthorized overnight guests may result in additional occupancy charges or termination of the stay where appropriate.

33. Maximum Occupancy

Guest rooms may not exceed the occupancy limits established for the room type or applicable fire and safety requirements. Guests must provide accurate occupancy information.

34. Parties and Events

Guest rooms may not be used for unauthorized parties, events, commercial gatherings, or activities that create unreasonable noise, occupancy, security, or safety concerns. Hotel management approval is required for any activity exceeding normal guest-room use.

35. Illegal Activity

Illegal activity is prohibited anywhere on Hotel property. Velkommen Inn may contact law enforcement when reasonably necessary for safety, security, suspected criminal activity, or compliance with legal obligations.

36. Fire and Safety Equipment

Guests may not disable or cover smoke detectors; tamper with fire alarms or sprinklers; block emergency exits; interfere with security equipment; or disable safety equipment. Guests may be held responsible for damage or costs resulting from unauthorized tampering.

37. Cooking and High-Risk Appliances

Unauthorized cooking or heating equipment that creates a fire or safety hazard is prohibited in guest rooms, including unauthorized hot plates, portable burners, open-flame devices, cooking equipment, and heating appliances. Hotel-provided appliances may be used according to their intended purpose.

38. Hotel Access to Guest Rooms

Velkommen Inn respects guest privacy. However, the Hotel retains the right to enter a guest room at reasonable times when reasonably necessary for housekeeping, maintenance, repairs, emergency response, health or safety concerns, welfare checks, preventing property damage, investigating suspected material policy violations, compliance with law, or other legitimate Hotel operational purposes. A "Do Not Disturb" sign does not prevent entry where immediate access is reasonably necessary for safety, emergency, maintenance, or another lawful purpose.

39. Children and Minors

Parents, guardians, and accompanying adults are responsible for supervising minors on Hotel property. Children must be appropriately supervised in guest rooms, hallways, lobby areas, parking areas, pool areas, fitness facilities, elevators, and other common areas.

40. Hotel Amenities

Hotel amenities and services are provided subject to availability. Velkommen Inn may temporarily modify, restrict, close, or suspend an amenity because of maintenance, renovation, repairs, weather, safety concerns, equipment failure, utility interruption, staffing, government requirements, or other operational needs. Temporary unavailability of an amenity does not automatically entitle a guest to a refund or rate reduction unless required by applicable law or specifically agreed to by the Hotel.

41. Swimming Pool and Recreational Facilities

Guests using recreational facilities must comply with all posted safety rules. Children must be properly supervised. Use of recreational facilities is subject to posted rules, operating hours, weather conditions, maintenance requirements, and applicable law.

42. Parking

Parking is provided subject to availability and posted restrictions. Guests must not park in fire lanes, driveways, loading areas, unauthorized spaces, or designated accessible spaces without appropriate authorization. To the fullest extent permitted by law, guests are responsible for securing vehicles and property left inside vehicles. Nothing in these Terms eliminates Hotel liability that applicable law does not permit the Hotel to disclaim.

43. Personal Property and Valuables

Guests are responsible for securing their personal property. Velkommen Inn's liability for guest property, valuables, baggage, or other personal possessions is governed by applicable Texas law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit liability beyond what Texas law permits.

44. Lost and Found

Velkommen Inn may retain property left behind for a reasonable period in accordance with Hotel procedures and applicable law. The Hotel does not guarantee recovery of lost property. A guest requesting return of property may be responsible for shipping, packaging, handling, insurance, and delivery charges.

45. Firearms Policy

Velkommen Inn complies with applicable Texas and federal firearms laws. Unless possession is otherwise prohibited by state or federal law, a registered Hotel guest may lawfully possess, store, or transport a firearm or ammunition in the manner protected by applicable Texas law, including: in the guest's Hotel room; directly en route to or from the Hotel or guest room; directly en route to or from the guest's vehicle located on Hotel property; and in the guest's vehicle located on Hotel property. When carrying a firearm or ammunition through Hotel common areas, guests must comply with applicable Texas law and any lawful Hotel requirements regarding concealment, cases, or bags. Nothing in this policy permits possession of a firearm in a location where possession is prohibited by state or federal law.

Communications, Email, Telephone & Text Messaging

46. Consent to Transactional Communications

By providing Velkommen Inn with a telephone number, mobile number, email address, or other contact information in connection with a reservation, inquiry, stay, account, or transaction, you authorize Velkommen Inn and its authorized service providers to contact you regarding that transaction. Transactional communications may include reservation confirmations and changes, cancellation confirmations, pre-arrival information, check-in/check-out information, payment information and receipts, security alerts, lost-and-found communications, guest-service communications, requests related to your stay, and important Hotel notices. Communications may be sent using email, SMS text message, MMS, telephone, automated reservation systems, messaging services, or other contact methods you have used to communicate with the Hotel.

47. SMS/Text Message Consent

By providing a mobile telephone number in connection with your reservation, you authorize Velkommen Inn and its authorized service providers to send transactional text messages relating to your reservation or stay, including messages generated through automated reservation or communication technology where permitted by law. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Providing consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing a room or Hotel service. Marketing texts, if offered, require any consent required by applicable law and will be treated separately from necessary reservation-related communications.

48. Text Message Opt-Out

Where supported, you may reply STOP to discontinue further non-required SMS communications. Velkommen Inn may send a final confirmation acknowledging the opt-out where permitted by law. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your Hotel reservation; does not cancel amounts legitimately owed; does not necessarily prevent Velkommen Inn from contacting you through email or telephone concerning an active reservation, safety issue, billing matter, or other legitimate transaction; and does not affect communications legally required or otherwise permitted by law. For assistance with messaging, guests may contact the Hotel directly.

49. Email Communications

By providing an email address, you authorize Velkommen Inn to send transactional or relationship emails concerning your reservation, payment, stay, account, or inquiry, including reservation, modification, and cancellation confirmations, receipts, pre-arrival communication, post-stay information directly related to the reservation, safety or operational notices, and customer-service responses.

50. Marketing Emails

Promotional or marketing communications will be handled separately from essential transactional communications as required by applicable law. Recipients of marketing emails may opt out using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the communication. Opting out of marketing email does not prevent Velkommen Inn from sending legitimate transactional messages relating to an existing reservation, stay, payment, or other transaction.

51. Telephone Communications

Velkommen Inn may contact guests at telephone numbers provided in connection with a reservation or transaction for legitimate reservation, payment, security, or guest-service purposes. Guests are responsible for ensuring that telephone numbers provided are accurate and that they are authorized to provide and use those numbers.

52. Communication Delivery

Guests are responsible for maintaining accurate telephone numbers, mobile numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, and other contact information and for reasonably monitoring the telephone number, voicemail, email address, and other contact methods provided with the reservation. Velkommen Inn is not responsible for a guest's failure to receive or respond to communications because of incorrect or outdated contact information, full inboxes, spam filtering, telephone carrier restrictions, device settings, network failures, guest blocking, changed telephone numbers, missed or unanswered calls, calls directed to voicemail, or other circumstances outside the Hotel's reasonable control. A missed, unanswered, blocked, or voicemail-routed call does not invalidate an action otherwise permitted under these Terms after the Hotel has made the reasonable contact attempt required by the applicable policy.

53. Shared Email Addresses and Telephone Numbers

Guests are responsible for the privacy and security of email addresses, telephone numbers, devices, and accounts they provide. If a guest provides a shared email account or telephone number, the guest acknowledges that reservation information may be visible to other persons with access to that account or device.

54. Communication Records

To the extent permitted by applicable law and the Hotel's privacy practices, Velkommen Inn may maintain business records relating to guest communications and transactions, including reservation records, emails, text-message logs, delivery records, telephone notes, payment records, electronic signatures, acceptance timestamps, website transaction records, confirmation records, IP or device information where collected, and guest-service notes. Such records may be used for legitimate purposes including customer service, fraud prevention, payment disputes, chargeback responses, legal compliance, security, business records, and enforcement of Hotel policies.

Electronic Agreements

55. Electronic Acceptance

The parties agree that reservations and related transactions may be conducted electronically. Where permitted by applicable law, actions such as clicking "Book," "Reserve," "Confirm," or "I Agree," checking an acceptance box, entering payment information, signing electronically, completing an online check-in, or accepting an electronic registration agreement may constitute electronic acceptance of the applicable agreement.

56. Electronic Signatures

Electronic signatures, electronic records, and electronically accepted contracts will have the effect provided by applicable law. A guest may not reject an otherwise valid agreement solely because it was entered into electronically.

57. Electronic Records

Velkommen Inn may retain reservation confirmations, registration records, payment authorizations, acknowledgments, policy acceptances, and other business records electronically. Guests should retain copies of important reservation confirmations and cancellation confirmations.

Website Terms

58. Website Use

The Velkommen Inn website and reservation system may be used only for lawful purposes. Users may not attempt unauthorized access; interfere with website operation; introduce malicious code; attempt to bypass security; use stolen payment information; make fraudulent reservations; misrepresent identity; abuse promotions; scrape website content without authorization; or engage in activity that damages or interferes with the website or reservation system.

59. Website Accuracy

Velkommen Inn makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate website information. However, occasional errors may occur involving rates, room descriptions, availability, photographs, amenities, taxes, dates, promotions, or technical data. Velkommen Inn reserves the right to correct an obvious error. If a material reservation error occurs, the Hotel may contact the guest to explain the error and available options.

60. Room Photographs

Photographs are intended to reasonably represent the Hotel or applicable room category. Individual rooms may vary in furniture arrangement, décor, artwork, finishes, location, view, and minor design features. A photograph does not guarantee assignment of the exact room pictured unless expressly stated.

61. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Hotel website may contain or use third-party reservation systems, payment processors, maps, analytics, communication providers, travel services, and external links. Velkommen Inn is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services except to the extent liability is imposed by applicable law. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Privacy and Information

62. Personal Information

Velkommen Inn may collect and use personal information reasonably necessary to process reservations, provide accommodations, process payments, communicate with guests, prevent fraud, maintain security, respond to requests, operate the Hotel, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable law and Velkommen Inn's [Privacy Policy](#).

63. Payment Information

Payment-card information may be processed by authorized third-party payment processors, reservation systems, banks, card networks, and merchant-service providers. Guests should not send complete credit-card information through insecure email or text message unless specifically directed through a secure Hotel-approved method.

64. Security

Velkommen Inn takes reasonable measures to protect guest information but no electronic transmission or information-storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Guests are responsible for protecting their own devices, accounts, passwords, and reservation information.

Liability and Legal Terms

65. Assumption of Ordinary Risks

Guests are expected to exercise reasonable care when using Hotel facilities. Use of amenities is subject to posted rules and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms releases Velkommen Inn from liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

66. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Velkommen Inn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, reservation system, or Hotel services. This limitation does not apply where such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability for conduct for which liability cannot legally be excluded.

67. Guest Responsibility and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, a guest agrees to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from the guest's unlawful conduct; the guest's negligence; the guest's intentional misconduct; a material violation of these Terms; or damage caused by the guest, occupants, visitors, or animals under the guest's control. This provision does not require a guest to indemnify Velkommen Inn for losses caused by Velkommen Inn to the extent such responsibility cannot legally be transferred.

68. Force Majeure

Velkommen Inn will not be responsible for failure, interruption, cancellation, or delay caused by circumstances reasonably outside its control, including severe weather, flood, fire, natural disaster, utility failure, power outage, internet outage, government action, public emergency, epidemic or pandemic, transportation disruption, labor disruption, civil disturbance, equipment failure, supply interruption, acts of God, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable Hotel control. Where appropriate, Velkommen Inn will make reasonable efforts to provide available alternatives.

69. Renovation, Maintenance and Construction

Hotel property occasionally requires renovation, maintenance, repair, equipment replacement, or construction. Such work may result in temporary noise, restricted access, or temporary amenity closures. Velkommen Inn will make reasonable efforts to minimize unreasonable disruption but cannot guarantee complete absence of construction or maintenance activity.

70. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

Subject to applicable law, Velkommen Inn reserves the right to refuse accommodations or terminate a stay when reasonably necessary because of fraud, nonpayment, threatening conduct, violence, illegal activity, significant property damage, serious disruption, material policy violations, safety concerns, fraudulent identification or payment, or other lawful grounds. Velkommen Inn does not discriminate on a basis prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law.

71. Accessibility and Non-Discrimination

Velkommen Inn seeks to provide accommodations and services in compliance with applicable accessibility and anti-discrimination laws. Guests needing an accessible accommodation are encouraged to contact the Hotel so available options can be discussed.

72. Governing Law

These Terms and all direct reservations with Velkommen Inn will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where federal law or another controlling law applies.

73. Venue and Jurisdiction

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes arising from a direct reservation, Hotel stay, or these Terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving Bosque County, Texas, unless another venue is required by law.

74. Collection Costs

Guests remain responsible for legally valid unpaid balances. Where authorized by applicable law or another enforceable agreement, Velkommen Inn reserves the right to recover reasonable collection costs, court costs, and attorney's fees.

75. Severability

If any portion of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

76. No Waiver

Failure by Velkommen Inn to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the Hotel's right to enforce that provision or another provision in the future.

77. Headings

Section headings are provided for convenience and do not limit or alter the meaning of the applicable provisions.

78. Entire Agreement and Incorporated Policies

These Terms, together with the reservation confirmation; applicable rate rules; cancellation policy; pet policy; registration agreement; group agreement, if applicable; payment authorization; posted safety rules; and any other reservation-specific terms accepted by the guest constitute the applicable agreement relating to the reservation and stay.

79. Order of Precedence

If provisions conflict, the more specific term applicable to the particular reservation will generally control. For example, a clearly disclosed non-refundable rate restriction may control over the general 48-hour cancellation policy. A signed group or corporate agreement may also supersede inconsistent general terms.

80. Changes to These Terms

Velkommen Inn may update these Terms for future reservations. The effective date will be shown at the beginning of the document. Changes will not retroactively modify a confirmed reservation where doing so would violate applicable law or an enforceable existing agreement.

81. Contact Information

Questions regarding reservations, cancellations, modifications, payments, guest policies, accessibility, or these Terms may be directed to: Velkommen Inn · Phone: (254) 675-8999 · Email: info@velkommeninncliftontx.com
