Many of our guests travel with their dogs — and we're glad to have them. Designated dog-friendly rooms mean your companion comes too.
Advance approval required. Pet-friendly rooms are limited. Call (254) 675-8999 before arrival so we can confirm a designated dog-friendly room is reserved for you. Third-party booking sites cannot reserve pet-friendly rooms accurately.
Accepted pets
- Dogs are welcome in designated dog-friendly rooms only
- Dogs only — other pets, including cats, are not permitted
- Maximum 2 dogs per room
Your responsibilities
- Keep dogs leashed in all public areas of the property
- Don't leave dogs unattended in rooms for extended periods
- You're responsible for any damage, extra cleaning, or disturbance
- Please clean up after your dog on hotel grounds
- Barking that disturbs other guests isn't permitted

IMPORTANT: Pet fees are collected only by Velkommen Inn at check-in. Unless expressly authorized by the Hotel, third-party booking websites, independent travel agents, and travel agencies are not authorized to collect or represent Velkommen Inn’s official pet fee.

Service animals as defined by the ADA are always welcome and are never subject to pet fees. Please let us know at booking so we can prepare for your stay.
Pet Fees & Third-Party Reservations
All Velkommen Inn pet fees are established, assessed, and collected directly by Velkommen Inn at check-in. Unless expressly authorized in writing by Velkommen Inn, no online travel agency, independent travel agent, travel agency, booking website, reservation service, wholesaler, or other third party is authorized to collect a Velkommen Inn pet fee on the Hotel’s behalf.
Velkommen Inn also does not authorize third-party reservation providers, independent travel agents, or travel agencies to publish, advertise, quote, or represent Velkommen Inn’s current pet-fee schedule as an official Hotel charge unless such information has been expressly authorized by Velkommen Inn. Pet fees and pet-policy terms are subject to change, and only the fee confirmed directly by Velkommen Inn will be considered the Hotel’s official and current pet fee.
If a third-party website, travel agent, or booking provider displays a pet fee, estimated pet charge, package charge, or other pet-related amount, that information should not be relied upon as Velkommen Inn’s official pet fee unless confirmed directly by the Hotel. Any pet-related amount paid to an unauthorized third party will not automatically satisfy or reduce the pet fee owed directly to Velkommen Inn.
Guests traveling with a dog must disclose the pet to Velkommen Inn and must be assigned to a designated pet-friendly room, subject to availability. Regardless of whether the room reservation was made directly with Velkommen Inn or through a third-party provider, all applicable Hotel pet fees are due directly to Velkommen Inn at check-in.
If there is any difference between pet information displayed by a third party and information provided directly by Velkommen Inn, Velkommen Inn’s current Pet Policy and fee confirmed directly by the Hotel will control, to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable reservation agreement.
